Sherri Komrosky
Sherri Komrosky became the PTAC Program Director in June 2006. Prior to becoming Program Director, she had been the PTAC Northern Minnesota Area Manager for 15 years. Sherri’s initial experience with the government was with the VA Medical Center in Fargo, ND. She had various positions during her 10 years at the VA, many of which were in the procurement area. Sherri then transitioned to the PTAC program, joining the North Dakota PTAC where she worked for two years. Sherri is a member of the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC), a member of the Professional Review Board (PRB); and she also holds the APTAC Level 3 - Certified Contract Assistance Specialist (CCAS) certification. She is also a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and is a founding member and on the Board of Directors of the Red River Valley Chapter.

Arlette Abrahamson
Arlette Abrahamson has been the Northern Minnesota PTAC Area Manager since 2006. She has twenty years of experience in marketing and contracting. She obtained her AA Degree from Northland Community College in Thief River Falls, MN, and her BS Degree from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN. Over the years, Arlette has worked with many small businesses in Northern Minnesota, assisting them with government certifications, business plans, marketing and procurement. Arlette is a member of the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (APTAC) and holds the certification of Contracting Assistant (CA). She is also a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Red River Valley Chapter. Arlette enjoys bowling, fishing, camping, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jamara Cheek
Jamara Cheek joined PTAC in May 2008. Prior to joining PTAC, she held several positions within the Metropolitan Council. Most significantly, she spent seven years working in the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity as a specialist for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. There, she developed a strong knowledge base of the U.S. Department of Transportation's federal procurement practices and regulatory compliance procedures. Jamara has obtained APTAC Level 1 certification as a Contract Assistance Specialist (CAS) and attends national procurement training events annually. She is a member of the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (A|PTAC) and National Contract Management Association (NCMA). Her skills are market research, active listening, sales, training, and organization.

Mark Cooper
Mark A. Cooper brings more than 25 years of corporate experience in contract administration and procurement to MEDA. In addition to supplier and diversity program responsibilities at Donaldson Companies and Lawson Software, Mark founded his own consulting firm to develop minority business initiatives. Most recently, he was with the State of Minnesota as a vendor management specialist. Mark resides in Minneapolis and is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of the Minnesota Safety Council. He was the past chair of the Minnesota Minority Supplier Development Council.
